Description
In the Zoo of Jerez, one of the most important zoologic gardens in all Europe, you can see more than 1.300 animals from all 5 continents. Many of them belong to rare and endangered species. Very remarkable is the famous and rare white tiger. Other favorites of course are elephants, hippopotamus, giraffes and lions.

The small tourist train allows visitors to have a quick tour through the zoo, while its "big brother" circulates between the zoo and the city center.

The Botanic Gardens offer some 300 species from all over the world, and 1200 trees.

Opening times: 10 a.m to 8 p.m. (June, 1 to September, 30) and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (October, 1 to May, 31) Mondays closed (Except holidays).
