|The speciality of this botanical zoological garden are fruit- and insect eating birds. Opening time 10.00 a.m. to 18.00 p.m. Easy access also for disabled visitors.|
At "Parque Paraiso de las Aves" we cooperate with the european program E.E.P. This organization protects the endangered species and, where possible, brings them back to their natural environment. Because of the trust of the zoos of Berlin and Cologne, we take care of several species that are threatened by extinction: Balistar, Malabar hornbird, crowndove, Edward pheasent and more.
When you have a walk through our park you will admire rare animals and plants, freely flying birds, and have direct contact with animals. There is also the possibility to visit the largest plantation of oyster mushrooms and try this delicacy at our bar. During the guided tour through our park at 12.00 p.m. and 15.00 p.m. (ask at entrance for the starting point), you can hear more about our valuable work to protect nature.
